Comparing American and Chinese parents

But what has to change the parents themselves? A new book titled "Battle Hymn of the mother tiger" by Amy Chua has provoked a debate on cultural differences in parenting. Mrs. Chua is a professor at Yale Law School in New Haven, Connecticut, and mother of two daughters.She was in the Midwest Chinese American immigrant parents. In Chinese culture, is the strength and power of the tiger. In her book, Ms. Chua writes about how he has applied for excellence by their daughters. For example, threatened to burn her daughter stuffed animals, unless he plays a piece of music perfectly. It would be an insult to their daughters when they could not meet their expectations.
